The History

In the fifty's the father of Francesco Rubinato opened a shop in the centre of Treviso for stationery items, as well as school and office supply.

In this shop he not only sells, but he also execute with grand passion and inventiveness artisan works as the production of inks, repairing of old fountain pens and the personalization of products.

In the following years the shop becomes known in the whole country. From everywhere people are coming to visit this amazing and particular shop and to buy fountain pens and very special writing instruments and accessories. Many very important people of the Italian political and culture scene are customers of Mr. Rubinato and always more foreign clients are coming to visit the shop under the arcades in this small town close to Venice.

With the entrance of Francesco Rubinato in the direction of the shop, arrives also fresh spirit, innovation, passion and the desire to grow. Very fast Francesco realised the attraction of the customers for the antic writing culture, meanwhile out and exceeded by the more commercial and economic writing instruments, functional but without charisma.

Francesco starts to follow the relationships with the customers, proposing everything regarding the antic writing culture ( wooden nibholders, nibs, quills, personalised natural handmade inks, different types of sealing wax, seals with customer design and many other things).

Starting the co-operation with Patrizia Rizzato he made another quality step. With artistic sensibility and artisan capacity they created new items and compositions of writing sets as gift items, which very easy found its place on the market and this new but old line became a very big successes. In the eighty's Francesco Rubinato decided together with his partner Patrizia Rizzato the foundation of the company Francesco Rubinato s.r.l..
The shop was sold, because the development of the new company asked to the young company owners all physical effort and devotion to the products. The company is growing and participate with big success at first international exhibitions, developing business relations with customers all over the world. Financial Times, Walt Disney and different other editors, also form other sectors published articles about this company and the passion of its owners.

Today the company Francesco Rubinato s.r.l. is know all over the world and has exclusive partner, distributing the brand Francesco Rubinato, in countries as Germany, France, Spain, UK, Austria, Polonia, Letuania, USA, Canada. Furthermore the company created stabile business relations in many other countries.

While the distributors of Francesco Rubinato s.r.l. participating at their national trade fairs, Francesco Rubinato s.r.l. is exhibiting with an own booth at the following international exhibitions:
Premier Frankfurt, Ambiente and Tendence Frankfurt, NEC Birmingham, Stationery Show New York, ISOT Tokyo, Gift&Premium Hong Kong, Maison&Objet Paris, Intergift Madrid.

For giving continuity to the development of new markets, the company invest in trade fairs all over the world as for example Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, Russia, Turkey, Arabia.
